Coleman College was registered in 1987 as a private institution with the Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE Registration No.: 1813). Services and Facilities

Over the past twenty-two years, Coleman College has expanded its scope of operations offering a wide range of education and training services to meet the needs of students and working adults in Singapore and the region.

Currently, Coleman College is one of the leading private schools providing training in the English Language to foreign students to help them to successfully obtain internationally recognized qualifications such as IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, LCCI, and City & Guilds. Besides English and other languages, Coleman College offers other academic and professional courses including graphic design, multimedia design, tourism and hospitality, business, IT and sports and fitness. These courses lead to certificates, diplomas and degrees awarded in collaboration with reputable overseas colleges and universities in the US, UK and Australia.

The College occupies an area exceeding 10,000 square feet with a total of 19 training, tuition and administration rooms. The size of the training rooms ranges from 150 square feet to 480 square feet. The whole area has a capacity to accommodate up to 500 full-time students and more than 1,000 part-time students.

Coleman College is committed to the delivery of quality services and programmes to its customers and partners. It employs qualified, experienced and committed staff to provide effective and efficient services and programmes to students. Currently, it has more than 20 trainers and lecturers of which 9 are full-time staff. In line with its commitment to the quality and effectiveness of its services, the College maintains a student/teacher ratio of 20:1 for its language courses and 30:1 for its other academic and professional courses.

The College provides clear and accurate information on all its courses’ pre-requisites and fees, including a breakdown of tuition fees and non-tuition fees payable by the students. College Policies

The College pledges to administer students’ queries, requests and feedback expeditiously, fairly and accurately as set out in its Student’s Handbook. It has put in place a fee refund policy, orientation programmes and procedures to address students’ grievances and feedback and their requests for course transfer and withdrawal. Its Student Care Officer and other staff are available to provide assistance to international students facing difficulties adapting to the Singapore environment and helping them to resolve various problems they may encounter in their studies.

Student Contract
It is the College's standard operating procedure to enter into a Student Contract with the student prior to the confirmation of their enrolment and this policy is communicated to the prospective students through its various communication channels, including its website. The College will honour all the terms and conditions as set out in the Student Contract, including course delivery, pricing, refund and services provided. A copy of the contract is available for inspection upon request.

Refund Policy
The College has established clear refund policies and these are set out in the Standard Student Contract and the Student's Handbook.

Student Protection Scheme (SPS)
The College has adopted the Student Protection Scheme as stipulated by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) to protect the students’ fees in the event that the College is unable to continue operations owing to insolvency and/or regulatory closure. Furthermore, the SPS protects the student if the PEO fails to pay penalties or return fees to the student arising from judgements made against it by the Singapore courts.

For the purpose of the Student Protection Scheme, the College has established a ‘ Coleman College – SPS Escrow Account’ with the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in Singapore. This account protects the students’ tuition fees paid in advance to the College.

Code of Ethics

The College adopts the following codes of practice:
• Staff shall follow the rules and regulations of the relevant authorities strictly.
• Staff and appointed associates shall not resort to unethical sales practices and shall act in the best interest of the students and be always truthful, accurate and fair when providing information on services relating to Coleman College and its partners and supplies.
• Staff of the College adhere to a strict code of confidentiality with regards to the personal information of its students.
